Sea Tangle allows users to explore a kelp forest off the coast of British Columbia. Players will learn why the kelp forest and its inhabitants are important to one another. This experience includes knowledge from a member of the Heiltsuk (Haíɫzaqv) Nation who took the time to share their knowledge and experience. This journey can be taken as a solo player or along with a group. Once the learning adventure is complete, the host of the game can then choose to play a game of hide and seek, with the hiders turning into the creatures they just learned about.
